Troubleshooting Steps
Gemini Code Assist (Gemini Code) has encountered an error after a recent update.
It's unable to connect to the authentication server, seemingly a bug.
So, since the current version is v2.15.0, I downgraded to the older v2.14.0, and... it works.
The downgrade method is as shown in the attached image. Go to Extensions, check the version in the top right corner, and click the gear icon to select 'Install Another Version'.
And that's the solution!
Hopefully, they'll release an update to fix this issue soon...?
